Kastelli, or Kissamos, is not a large town yet it offers a good range of accommodation.
The nearby larger cities of Chania and Heraklion, just a short drive from Kissamos, have a wider range of hotels, apartments and villas for the more discerning traveller.
There are not many hotels to choose from at Kastelli. One of the most popular is the Hotel Kissamos, a small hotel with only 24 rooms, each with its own balcony. The hotel is well situated close to the beach and other amenities in the town. The three other more frequently used hotels are Hotel Peli, Hotel Hermes and Hotel Galini Beach.
Heraklion and Chania are larger towns situated close to Kastelli. Here, there is a wide range of hotels available, ranging from moderate to luxury accommodation. At Chania, the four-star Louis Creta Princess is situated right on the beachfront in Chania. The Silver Beach Hotel is also a popular choice.
Heraklion also offers a wide range of hotels, apartments, studio and rooms. There are boutique and five-star hotels, and cheaper accommodation to suite a variety of budgets.
